Casella recently welcomed NBC Boston into its Charlestown, Massachusetts Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for an in-depth look at the processing capabilities of the fourth-largest facility in the country.
 
The two-part series focused on the realities of modern recycling, how it all works, and the role the public plays in ensuring that the right material is sent to the facility so that it can be put to a higher and better use.
