Marking the Miles: A Dedication to Casella's First Driver, Ken Hier

Ken A. Hier Dedication

Casella recently dedicated its newly renovated CDL Training Center to Kenneth A. Hier Sr., the company’s first driver. Embodying a steadfast commitment to safety and service and being honored with multiple industry awards for his devotion, Hier was known by many as “The Man on the Mountain” for his long-running dedication to his customers on Killington Mountain through all weather conditions.

"When he went to work, it wasn't just a job. It meant more than that to him," said Courtney Hier, daughter of Ken Hier. "I don't even have words for what today and this honor meant to us."
